In order from high to low 1. The Descent... Brilliant 2. Wolf Creek... I swear to GOD, this movie messed me up. Based on a true story. There's no way in hell I'm ever going to Australia. 3. The Shining... Classic. This is considered the 2nd scariest movie ever made... and the 1st, to some. 4. The Exorcist... Widely agreed to be the scariest movie of all time by countless critics. There are records of people receiving therapy after this movie was released in theaters. 5. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre... I don't even want to talk about this movie. 6. Vacancy... OH MY GOD! Creepy creepy creepy... and disturbing. 7. Halloween... Classic. 8. It... this movie gave me several horrible nightmares.... ... no further comments. 9. The Omen... PURE EVIL! 10. Seven... Masterpiece thriller... which just so happened to scare the hell out of many people. This list is my opinion. The majority of websites and countdowns will name either The Shining or the Exorcist as the number one scariest movie. I recommend you see both of them. Wolf Creek is downright terrifying. I don't know many people who've heard of it, but it scared me on an extreme level. The Descent is one of the best modern scary movies ever made. It is not cliche, which is why so many people like it. Those top two on my list are both modern movies... I think Wolf Creek came out in 2005, and The Descent, 2006.

Mirrors was decent. It was interesting but not really scary. Whatever you do, DON'T watch The Unborn. It was horrible.
