Dex question for normal dex Shadowers.

So when did you cap your Dex? Did you go all the way to 150 or stop at a certain point? I read guides saying stop at 100 but It would also be nice to use the final weapon. Also I saw a forum earlier but never got the answer...why not keep your Dex normal and buy Luk equips instead of capping your Dex and getting Dex equips? Just trying to find a couple of answers to help me with my build... Thanks for your time. =)

You could do that, but luk equips are much more expensive. Also, if you go regular dex and say get a zhelm and dep star, you'll have 20 extra dex. Most people cap in order to maximize the amount of luk they can get, like not adding those 20 dex and putting them in luk instead. I capped at 90 and managed to get 40 dex from my equips o.O

It's because some equips can only be scrolled for dex. Eg shoes

I'm capped at 87 and it's working very nicely, and my dex equips don't even have much dex on them. when you cap, don't worry about the future so much, just minimalize your spending on unneccisary things and save ur money for your dex equips. all I need now is dex earrings and i'll be all set for lvl 90

Zhelm, deputy star/MoN, shoes, and bottoms can give you extra dex bonuses (possibly around 40-50), which is why people cap at or before 100 dex, even if they plan on using a level 100 dagger, Dragon dagger, or Timeless/Reverse dagger. Mine is capped at 108, where I capped it probably around 2 years ago. I would probably cap somewhere between 80 and 100 now.

Capped at 120 too . But people who did don't have to worry about getting dex equips for timeless weps :D.
