I need help with HP wash

Hi, I bought 20 AP resets on my 124 corsair (has 3767/3100) and when i used a AP reset i could only subtract STR and DEX. I De-Equipped everything, and tried again, same thing. What the hell is happening?

When you level up, add your AP points to HP. Then use the resets to lower AP points from MP and increase AP points to STR (I guess in your case). However, you also need to make sure your HP and MP are in balance. There is a formula for determining it. I don't know what the formula is for pirates. The formula for bowmen though, is (Level * 14) +148. This tells you what your minimum MP can be for your level. To tell the difference between the minimum and your base MP, just remove any equips that add MP to your char. Subtract the minimum MP from your base MP and divide the answer by 12 to determine how many actual points you can wash. You can also increase the amount of MP you get when leveling by wearing INT equips when you level. Then you are able to wash more points.

you level up at early lvls with int gear on then do a full wash when you have enough mp

You don't even have to wear INT gear. It just lets you do more washes. With 20-40 int just from wearing a zhelm and HT pendant, it's more than enough to wash 15~ times by the time you're 130. Int gear makes it more depending how much you have. @above, it's the process of adding HP at a level up and reseting a point from MP to your main stat. Level up, [^] MaxHP, [v] MaxMP, [^] LUK (Thief) Therefore, you get more HP at the price of MP.

It's like adding AP into HP but it doesn't lower your damage over time.

HP washing is a method of increasing your HP so you can survive hits from higher level monsters/bosses earlier. You are basically trading excess MP to add to HP. However you can't do it directly, so when you level, you add points to HP instead of your char's main stat (for me Dex). Then you use AP resets to reduce points in MP and add back to your char's main stat.
