error code: -2147467261 (Invalid pointer)

So I logged in right after the server check, and a few minutes after I had logged in the game closed and I got this message "error code: -2147467261 (Invalid pointer)". I reloaded the game, and again, a few minutes later it closed with the same message. This has never happened to me before, is anyone else getting this same problem?

I was in the free market too, at the entrance, channel 1 both times. Maybe it's an error related to Ch. 1 FM? EDIT: Oh wait no, I went to server 2 the 2nd time, whoops sorry. Just FM related?

Maybe it's a hack people use to get spots? I was in channel 2 FM1.

This is not a hack nor an error you can fix. It is a simply mistake in nexon's coding that causes the game to crash occasionally it is nothing new and has been around for at least 3 three just restart your computer otherwise it shouldn't happen constantly.

oh its nothing its just an mistake and rite now Maplestory.EXE is Corrupted i dunno what to do but invalid pointer happens alot yesterday i was playing like every freakin 30 mins it happens even when im searching fm for some of my gunslinger iteams

i'm having the same problem but instead in brackets it says (Unknown error : - 0x80030002) i'll try restarting my computer maybe it will work

Ok, I really don't think this is a hack, because this error pertains to the C coding within the Maple story coding itself. It's basically a redirection error meaning the program is looking in the wrong place of coding to find what it's looking for.

i have fm2 spot, and im dcing every 5 minutes. I have to log back in every 5 minutes, with my heart pounding, to get my spot back. FIX IT NEXON
