Should i HP Wash?

Well im a pirate and i would like to do a lot of bossing but im not sure if i will be able to HT >_> is hp washing worth it for a Corsair?

Yeah, definetly. i saw a 13x Corsair, he had 3.5 k hp. You need 4.4 to survive HT. And its always nice to have.. more? if you want to Ht at around 140 you should wash, otherwise you should be good. its always good to wear Int equips on level ups though, so i'd start that now

Actually I think you need 4700 before HB to survive Horntail fully. Hp washing is definitely worth it for a Corsair, your base HP is already higher than that of an Archer or Thief and each point you wash adds 18 ~ 22 HP while subtracing 16 MP. I've washed around 44 times on my Corsair, I can still wash 13 more times at LV.141 for a total of 57 washes, but I need to level a few more times because I don't have anymore saved AP. Assuming an average of 20 HP per wash, at LV.144 I'd have around 5300 HP with a Mark of Naricain after I finish my washing. Currently I'm sitting at 4970 with Mark of Naricain.

No it's not true, People seem to think Corsairs are lousy just because the ship breaks but the truth is even with Rapid Fire in between they still have great damage, perhaps still higher than a Night Lord with Apple and SE. The only reason you don't see more Corsairs at Horntail is because there simply aren't many high level Corsairs to be taken. Most people quit in the Gunslinger stage because the fact is that Corsairs just plain suck until mid 14x when you have your core skills maxed out. I forget the name now but a LV.173 Corsair posted about his/her Horntail results. In a 90 minute run, their Ship only broke 10 ~ 12 times. That's 15 ~ 18 minutes off the Ship 72 ~ 75 minutes on the Ship.
