Would an adventure comic be too cliche?

I've just discovered BasilMarket's screen section and am currently trying to read all the comics. There many adventure series out there, and I just don't like the idea of starting off the series with fighting and already knowing what the core of the comics will be. I personally think that there should be comic relief characters and the first issue should focus more on introducing the characters and having them go off onto an idiotic quest. Any suggestions for my future comics?

ELightningEverything becomes "cliche" sooner or later.

Well, most of the time, yeah, but it depends. There are some awesome adventure comics out there (Maple Legends) that are awesome not only because of the plot, but also because of the extreme editing skills. Also, my comic is an adventure comic, and it usually gets alot of "likes". Because it's funny. Appearently. So yeah. :P

KazeKishi said: " Do an adventure but keep it inside a house? =3 Play with the imagination " XD My chars will jump out the window to escape. No more house comic. ;P xknight1001 said: " Originality doesn't exist anymore " Eh, I got that, but that's really the point of this thread, to make get suggestions to make a somewhat original storyline.

As long as you're putting thought into it, and it doesn't involve a princess getting captured by a reptile, forcing you to collect a large amount of stars, then it'll be fine.

If you put effort, and it shows, then you know you have a good comic.
