Need Help!

| So i log on to my windows vista and right after everything loads there is a blue screen. im so scared rite now. The blue screen has a bunch of crash dump stuffs. Im on safe mode rite now trying to figure out what the problem is. I have an antivirus system and i scanned my computer yesterday and it was clean. So im wondering which program has the problem. I have all the basic programs. Microsoft Office, Itunes, Messenger, Google Chrome and Maplestory. So really what is the problem. Freakin out here |

| #1: Blue screen has absolutely NOTHING to do with virus's. #2: Blue screen happens occasionally on windows platforms, there isn't much you can do to prevent it (seeing as its almost impossible to predict) #3: If you're running Aero, try turning it off (Start > Control Panel > Personalize). Aero sucks up alot of RAM, and if your processor and graphics card can't handle it, that might be the reason for the blue screen. Solution: Since you blue screened right when you logged in, there isn't much that could have triggered the blue screen other than Aero, if it was turned on. If it wasn't, I'm just going to have to say Windows screwed up there. |
