Well do you think having the war in Iraq changed anything for the citizens of that country? I personally think only a little bit has changed, there's still a couple deaths here and there, car bombs and suicide bombings. I mean we lost thousand of soldiers lives and we basically crippled some families. So my question to you is was the war in Iraq good for the country and the U.S or was it a bad idea that lost us some lives?

It was a bad idea.

Bad for the country. Just look at the gas prices. The war was Bush's excuse to get the oil from Qatar.

No war is ever a good idea to start with.

I think it's what the American people wanted at the time. After 9/11, Americans wanted their justice, and it was had. Bush did right by the American people, no matter how wrong the rest of the war was.

-Waits for the hippies to come in and rant on about how war is bad and blame Bush- I've just learned to accept war as part of my life. Also I do believe most of America wanted it, since the whole 9/11 thing had to happen.

I mean, there was a valid reason for the war to start, but it would hurt the moral of the people to see the war go on any longer.
