Why does my dmg suk?

Ok, i have a 89 att 2-handed sword, a 7att wg and i still hit low. Usually, i hit 2k and the highest ive seen myself hit is 2.6k. My base dex is 70 and my base str is 217. Could soemoen plz tell me why i hit so low? Even with rage i hit the same anount.

Get a better weapon ( Jap Map) and ditch ur lion fang and if you have money scroll your top for STR?

Uhh... try getting a jap map with at least 78+ attack, it could beat the Speed of a lion's fang Not only damage matters but the speed too If you could try reading the threads about DPS and stonetooth swords and other threads that gives information about DPS it would be good You might hit like 2k but its still good since its a fast weapon and at lvl 50, dmg is not that important until 70+

you can do well with 50 base dex.. but its too late except if you buy 20 ap resets Btw, I started maplestory unfunded and I managed to keep my dex at 50 and manage to hit every monsters i train on Just get a Jap Map =D Btw, whats ur cape?

Because your equips are not good enough, my HB mule probably hits that much. ._. Also, your DEX is... high, very high, another contributing factor. Depending on your fundings and free time, I would actually recommend restarting. 1 ~ 5x shouldn't take much more than a week.

dont tell the kid to restart his character... god his damage is not bad to say the least, and he wont have low damage at lvl 90 even unfunded.These lvl 5x come out of cpq thinking of maple story as a fight to see who hits higher, back in the old days it didnt matter and people got 120+ all the time...
