Can humans not evolve anymore?

Okay okay I'm not exactly smart in the whole evolution crap but I do know that evolution occurs when individuals with favored traits survive and reproduce passing those traits. Eventually you would evolve. So think about it, humans today have technology that could solve all their problems. For example, let's say we're still idiots walking around naked. A wild sea bear attacks a human and many of them die except for one with a giant arm who kills the sea bear with his kung fu grip. This trait is favored and passed on to offspring. The offspring continue reproducing yadiyadiyada and evolution occurs after a period of time. Now I digress; humans today would just slaughter the sea bear with a giant minigun and the dude with the long arm just gets made fun of. Okay that's a bad example but you know what I mean. MAIN IDEA HERE. Is technology not allowing humans to evolve? Flame me if you wish but I'm very curious about this.

Probably, I heard if we stop eating meat we can get the use of our arterys back or something. Not ourself particularly but like maybe grandchildren or stuff.

I'm pretty curious too, but I do believe that Technology is -at least- slowing our Evolution, if not preventing it completely.

Species are evolving without halt. It's just technology is leading us towards the wrong psychological development in which is getting in the way of the development needed to survive without technology. So if technology will always be here, and continue to grow as we do as well; we will be fine, but that's just assuming.

This really only applies where technology doesn't. You're talking about natural selection evo, for instance, use the people with bad eyesight. If we as humans lived without technology, the peeps who were born with bad eyesight would die out, because they would be unable to hunt for themselves. Instead, we enable these people with bad eyesight to live with our technology. So nope, we have no need to evolve anymore, when technology fixes our bodily flaws which would, without the use of technology, be indubitably fatal. Besides, we're only 25 years away from GATTACA anyways.
