what does the first ss of the accompanying pics prove? edit: this http://img2.pict.com/0b/d3/54/1265188/0/14nle6e.jpg one is fake. look at the magic guard, bless, invincible buffs at the top right and notice hes a not a mage. and theres blue text at the bottom. and that guy says the buffs are xfered over... yea right. edit 2: http://img2.pict.com/0c/06/d7/1265191/0/eq6m89.jpg what does this one prove? that people are saying herotex got hacked? so theres been lots of people who have said that.

Others are new (and the now-deleted thread), enough to convince some to take more precautions. This is mainly for those people. If you do or don't exercise more of it, it's up to you but I thought I might get this out there for that purpose. Edit: I'm not questioning the authenticity of the screenshots or here to debate them or anything. Like I said, make what you will of them. Take care, bye. Edit #2 @ killer523: I don't know about the buffs, but then again there's that blue text in the chat box. I don't know. As for the second one, it's not just them saying he got hacked. The character taking the screenshot was alleged to have been hacked, too. (afakivz or whatever the hell the IGN is.) In essence, it's supposed to be the hacker taking a screenshot of him on the allegedly hacked account.

Real or fake telling everyone isn't going to do anything except cause mass panic... if this thing is as powerful as the rumors claim then people being "cautious" won't do crap. Frankly we should let this topic die and just have people go about as normal because all that will come of telling people that basically there's a hack that's so powerful that w/e you do you can't stop it form getting to you and the result is a complete strip of your character... is panic besides if that first pic is true most people have nothing to worry about unless they're just jerks 100% of the time...

The person said if he doesn't get you then he'll go after anyone else tied to you in any way possible... so unless no one logs in.. saying this still won't do anything

No, it's not ideal for everyone to stop logging on, which I already acknowledged. I agree with you. He named two guilds who he's targeting, so should the hack be authentic and the perpetrator of which wanting to own up to his words, said guild members would save themselves. Anyhow, I'm not going to go back and forth about this. I got the word out for those who may want to take precautions, regardless of their accounts being in actual danger. Thass it.
