Ahem. I was wonderin' how to train at Himes. I'm almost level 80 and some of my friend suggested that I should try out Himes. Well, I heard you have to have a priest with you to be able to train at Himes. So like, I don't know what to do. D: Do I just go to Himes by myself and train? Do I get a Priest to train with me? Do I get a Priest just to heal me? If I get a Priest to train with me, what do they do? And what do I do? D: -Is clueless-

Wait till your level 90+ Get a priest . Make him/her heal you . This is how most people train: 1. Dk will stand out one corner (i stand --->) 2. Priest will go around the map mobbing the himes 3. Priest teles back 4. Rebuff 5. Kill all himes 6. Repeat

Ideally 81, so they have max HS. For you, when you hit ~90, mob himes to the left and have the priest heal you, as you get stronger and can kill them before you get hit too many times mob them in the middle, that will greatly improve your training speed.

If he/she is higher leveled, you simply get less exp than you would if you were higher leveled. It won't matter since you'll still get a lot. Can you even hit Himes at level 80?

For example (wishes had video to show) if u stand at the very far right of the map, against the invisible wall, u will almost always get knocked back to the right, into the "wall". if u are knocked back to the left, u will almost always immediately get knocked back the next time back towards the "wall". Now it isnt 100%, but i can pretty much say it is goin to happen. The right side is better for less movement. Now, for me, soloing is better exp. Im pure polearm, and semi funded now due to some lucky gaching (got 90mil now yay). I started soloing at i think lvl 85. I needed alot of acc equips/pots to help me, but the exp was just wonderful. The acc items i used was a decently scrolled maple karstan (around 98-102 attack will be sufficient. At that time i did not have a zhelm, so i had to rely on my 14acc, 8 dex mithril planet (which btw i sold on mts, i hope someone is putting it to good use now) and also amorian baskets for a few levels, along with some acc gloves. I use about 2000 honsters and about 500 sorceror elixers per level, coming to about 5-6mil per level. I do not train like the video above. I mob on each end of the map, and after eliminating all of the beginning mob, i mob the respawned himes to the opposite side from which i just finished killing. I mob right, left, right, left, and so on. The way i mob is basically the same way that is shown in the above video. As i run to the oppostie side, i jump and use polearm fury, (which in my case is my most used attack) but instead of doing a backwards attack, i just time my jumps correctly and attack forward.. Because of my speed equips as well (i have 140% speed while training due to my 17 speed VSS, 8 speed White Mouse Kit, 7 speed pet equip, and 10 speed pill) i can get from one side to the other very quickly, and have the ability to mob and kill quickly now. well thats how i trained there. im not sure i will be of any help, since most people apparently rely on preists. i see lvl 105 dks in fm all the time screaming for a priest to help them at himes. ive been soloing himes since lvl 85, though i have helped friends and guildies who are priests or who have been every once in a while. :D |
