I hate how each page only holds 14 responses.

Why not an round number like 15 or 20? It messes with me every time I enter a topic that has 29 posts and I see a page with only one response on it. My brain doesn't order itself in groups of 14. >_< Seriously. Even with all of the trolls and flaming, this 14 messages per page thing is my biggest pet peeve on Basil.

It used to be 15. But those were the days where each page number was visible from the chat section page (long threads pushed other topics to the 2nd page) xD

Because in chinese(cantonese), if you say 14 it sounds like "Will Die" Which used in this forum, means every thread will die
