ok, so nexon is a company, and advertises their game. but seriously, what are these people thinking? First it was the stupid "because I can, and it's free" motto, and then the stupid TV advertisements with the fat guy with snails on his chest and the guys slapping each other. the new ads, the ones that are like the real in-game characters but are kind of drawn, look absolutely retarded and distorted. have you seen the advertisement on the main page? if you saw that for the first time as a non-player, would that make you wanna play? An asian guy with a girl haircut (at one point it is a girl haircut) and other people with wierd clothes? And the narrator goes near the end, "join now at maplestory dot NEHXOHN" dot com!" like, don't they even care about how their company name is pronounced? well anyway, this stupid thread of mine was made just to see how many agree with me.

They're not doing that bad. Sure, it's not epic like it needs to be. Think about the Monster Hunter commercial that was playing a month ago--It was pretty great. Sounded epic and all that good stuff. But we all know--Monster Hunter sucks. It REALLY sucks. If you game is actually good (like Maple), you don't need a good commercial. Also, why the "Because I can, and it's free" ads were bad--it was actually a really good line. As a matter of fact, I use it VERY frequently to this day.
