| First of all, I would like to tell you guys that I have been reading A LOT of threads about the "hack chaos" that has been going on Maple in the past few days. Before you read, I would like to also warn that, there will be many words (at least, to me) below. I saw A LOT of people who thinks that the hack is fake , a lie, joke, and asking for "proofs and screen shots". Me myself have got hacked magically when I was on Basil reading threads, and one of my friends messaged me in Basil that a hacker got into my account and started stripping my character. How does he know? Well, obviously the hacker probably did not know his name or reply when my friend messaged in buddy chat with my name in it. What did I do straight away? changed my password and resetted pin and went onto my other account and keep tracking until the hacker logs off so I can go on and obviously will see everything gone in there. At least, I managed to save my other two characters before the hacker took action on them, but my loss was a lot, to me. How did I got hacked? As I said earlier, "magically", meaning I do not know. I have blocked chat invitation, avoided going to Free Market, in fact, the "hack chaos" started after the 15 July's Server Check, and my last time opening a shop in Free Market was around 3 days or so before that Server Check. I do not trade with strangers. Actually, I have not been trading for a while since couple of weeks before the 15 July's Server Check. After I got hacked, I scanned my computer, and guess what? found nothing, meaning I do not have a keylogger or whatsoever. I scanned with Ad-Aware and Malwarebytes. I have not visited any suspicious websites that were advertised in or out of Maple, ever. Now, I would like to tell you that the hack I have encountered was not the "on-screen + DC" hack, my information was somehow obtained by the hacker. (Surprised? Yeah I was too) Now for all you people that want to go "screen shots/proof please, otherwise it's fake" or "hahaha, seriously, stop making these lies up to confuse people". Taking screenshots of how I got hacked: How can I do that when I was not even on Maple that time? and if the hack I have encountered was the "on-screen + DC" hack, how am I suppose to "take" a screen shot? a black screen? yeah, that will be convincing doesn't it? Also, taking screen shots of my other character being stripped and dropping things? you can say "you did that with another computer on another account" or something similar to that. Recording a video of it: To those people who really REALLY think it is fake, they can also say "you setted it all up", just like how people think that the character "HeroTex" got hacked was a joke or lie. Now, I do not have "proofs" that he really got hacked or not, nor am I doubting it, because I myself got hacked too. Besides, I am not in the same world as him.
