Take my friend for example. He will NOT let anyone of the same sex do anything to him really. Like a week ago my other friend was hugging him in a jokingly way because my homophobic friend was acting sad, and he kept on like pushing him away and trying to get free being like "NO! STOP NO!" and I was recording it with my phone and I was like "cmon hug him back" and the guy hugging him was like "if you hug me back ill stop" and it took me like a minute more of struggling to hug him to get free, but bareelyy hug him it was like for half a second. Then he ran away lol... But really, it wasnt sexual or anything, it was just a joke, but he is probably the most homophobic person I have ever met in my whole life. o.o Is he trying to hide his true feelings? ;) and no the guy hugging him is not homosexual lol..

Maybe he's aware you guys are gay and wants to makes the line clear. EDIT: That is if you're really gay... Either way, though, if I'm pissed off I don't want people to be 'joking around' and hugging me.

How can some people be SO arachnophobic? I mean, most spiders are more afraid of you than you are of them! Fears are just such. They have no basis and are usually irrational. I'm sure that you yourself have some sort of irrational fear. Just because this dude's is same sex physical contact doesn't change anything about the nature of phobias.

The simplest of ego defense mechanisms, really. He probably doubts his heterosexuality very much. In all seriousness, those people are exceedingly entertaining in situations such as that. Make the best of it.
