level requirement and limitation?

hey guys, so i was wondering, do we have to be lvl 20 exactly to sponsor a KOC or can be be 20 or over? can i use my lvl 60 dit to sponsor my KOC?

But if he uses his dit, won't he lose all his bandits skills? Unless there's a specialist medal; transforms to koc when equipped.

No the Dit does not become the KOC character it just becomes its parent your new KOC will start at level 1. Everytime it goes up 10 levels your other character gets a boost in points.
