Best Laptop for games, not just MS, but the detailed ones

Best Laptop, -Prefer nice looking, -Very quick, -A nice 320gb+ hard drive -Able to play the most detailed of games, no problem, fast with internet, no lag. -Im not exactly loaded, but i need a good laptop to live with me about 3-4 years :D. (end of school) -Budget: anything up to $2500, as i said i wanna buy a really good laptop to alst me long.

I couldnt get it if the total price was $2400 or the price was $2400. Of course, after hearing that I went on newegg and specced out a quick system that would beat his ( GTX 260 vs GTX 285 ) for less than $1500. And being in PA means no taxes, which means after shipping it would likely cost < $1600, not including the fact that he wouldve gotten his parts much sooner, and could OC to his hearts content.

To repeat a very important question from your other thread; what's your budget? And also another question, what do you mean by 'detailed' games? Could you give examples? =O The one Chickenz posted is an excellent laptop, and I suggest you get that if that is in your budget. The cheapest laptop that could run Crysis or the sort would be the G50 . And...just no to Alienware pls :S

If you have the money, the best laptop would be a Macbook Pro. It looks very nice, it is very "quick," it comes with a 320GB HDD by default (or you could customize it with an SSD online for insane speed), it comes with fast integrated NVIDIA graphics by default (you could add on a 9600 as a second discrete GPU online), and it will last you years unless you abuse it or decide to update. Of course, you need more than $1000 to spare for a Macbook Pro so it's not for everyone, but they're the best laptops in my opinion. I can't really think of a PC brand that makes good laptops. And as for gaming, all Macs come with Bootcamp so you can dual-boot windows if needed (or for nondemanding games like MapleStory you could use a free virtual machine).

For 850 you can get the Asus G50vt with a 9800GT non-integrated. Macs are a waste unless you need OSX.

That would classify you as a PC-fanboy. The thing is, after you've experienced both, you'll discover that Macs and PCs are two completely different things, and they are not to be compared. Close-minded: Intolerant of the beliefs and opinions of others; stubbornly unreceptive to new ideas.

In terms of customization, you would be highly limited. I've used Macs before, and hate the layout. I didn't even bring that up. You call me a fanboy, but post completely false information about how good a Mac is compared to a PC, and in another thread, about how an Intel CPU would be better, when that would make the cost much higher to put in a equal Intel CPU.
