Skill Points Carry Over?

When you make a job advancement, do left over skill points carry over?

You have to use all your points before you make the advancement I believe.

you can save as many as you want. -Edit- That was poorly worded, I meant as many as you want after the level required for the advancement.

No they do not, however you can use skill points from your new job and put it into your 1st job skills although I would not recommend it.

You must use all points up to the job level;however, from then on you can save points that do carry over.

No, that would be stupid. Max ice strike at lvl 70 or max Strafe at lvl 70. -.-

Skills from level 8 to 30 can ONLY be used for your job (magician) And all the sp you gain from 30 to 70, + one from job adv can ONLY be used for 2nd job

I think they're being a little confusing, unless you understand what they're saying.... What we all mean is that when you make a job advancement, you need to assign all your previous job's skill points first, but once you make the advancement, you can save those new skill points.
