Allo Mates Hello everyone, first off I'd like to say that this Guide is based on the data that Stephen Hawking and I have compiled together for the past years (obviously not). This thread was made to guide or be a reference to all other future NightWalkers that might have trouble with their SP allocation and training spot decisions. At the moment this guide doesn't contain all that much information but I will sure to add in more information as I play my own character. Please note that this build is optional and there may be some errors so you are free to correct me by posting below. -Manny(Ratatosk) *Please remember to read my "Reasons for this build" paragraphs"* Table of Contents 1. Becoming a Cygnus Knight. 2. 1st Job Skill Descriptions/SP Guide/Training Spots 3. 2nd Job Skill Descriptions/SP Guide/Training Spots 3. 3rd Job Skill Descriptions/SP Guide/Training Spots 4. Special Thanks Becoming a Cygnus Knight Nexon said: "1.Log in with a character above or at Level 20 . 2.Accept the invitation from Tactician Neinheart. 3.After landing on Ereve Island, talk to Shinsoo and accept his message. 4.Decide your Knight character's name and features, then click "OK". 5.When you have successfully created a character, log out from the game. 6.Log in to find the knight character. (You will get an extra character slot, and can have up to 12 slots.) Select the new character and start the game. 7.The game will pick up from Ereve, where you will again meet Cygnus and Shinsoo. Talk to the empress. 8.Talk to Neinheart and go on his quest. You must attain level 10 to choose your class. 9.Upon reaching level 10, read about the different features of the five classes, then choose your Knight class. Once a class is chosen, it cannot be reversed. Now you are a Cygnus Knight who will defend the Maple World! " 1st Job Requirements : Level 10 Noblesse Like the adventurers they get 1 SP and a little boost to start off their journey. Skills (Note beside each skill is the maximum amount of SP there can be in it): Nimble Body (10): Increases accuracy and avoidability. Keen Eyes (8): Increases the range of attack using throwing weapons such as throwing stars & knives. Disorder (10): Temporarily decreases the weapon def. and attacking abilities of the affected, even stunting the ongoing attacks. Can't use this skill on a monster that's already in "disorder." Dark Sight (10): Use MP to hide behind the shadows. Can't be attacked, and can't attack either. Lucky Seven (20): Use MP to throw 2 throwing stars and apply damage based on LUK, regardless of the rate of Claw Mastery. Umbra (20): Summons the Dark Sprite that defends you. At least this'll help me on the Skills. I think the training spots will be the same except being a few levels ahead of sins. Lol@ToS:DoTNW name.

Uh I has a question D: Is it true they nerfed vampire.. I'm torn between a low dex night walker with a 58 atk mamba or a dawn warrior cause from the things ive seen... their "almost" like regular sins but vampire caught my attention x.x so I'd like to know if its nerfed. And good guide I got some information.

I see.. Hey what would you suggest. It can be based on your opinion cause I'm still thinking anyway :P. Between a lowdex NW with 50 base and the claw I mentioned.. Or a low dex DW with 50 base as well with a 115-117 ST. I'm ripping my hair off from one of these.. I already have the dex equips for them xD so yea let me know what you think.

Vamp. is now 30%, but it's still very strong. It hits targets 4 times, so it's 30% x 4 = 120% on each of 6 targets and Critical stacks on it! It's not as strong as other mobbing skills still, but it's the only one that recovers HP! xD Edit: Maxed Crit. = +100%, so yeah, 130% on 50% chance. xD

Vampire is either 30% or 40%. Cant remember.
orangeking11 Jul 19 2009 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
If Vamp. was still 90%, if you hit all Crits. on 1 target, you'd be doing 190% x 4 = 760% on 1 target. Yeah, that's pretty godly for a skill that also recovers HP. xD Edit: Nerfed Vamp is still a potential 520% on a single target. xD

If you think about it, it's a nice plus that it got nerfed. With the nerf and Poison Sling being a main focus for training in 3rd, there's not much for damage whores to really go for (especially Poison Sling. You can have the godliest equips ever, but your Poison damage will still be based on monster's HP = a not-so-wealthy NW can train pretty much just as quick!). xD

orangeking11 07/19/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
dragony said: "wats nerfed? or nerf" When a skill's effect or damage is reduced. In this case, Vampire's damage went from 90% a hit at max to 30%. xD
