| Hey guys! I was thinking of playing L4D on pc so I ran a system check to see if I had all the requirements and it turns out that my graphics card is pretty bad... So I was gonna go out and buy a new graphics card that would be better for me but I have no idea how to see which ones are newer/better. My friend told me something about the generation of the card and how it relates to the digit of the thousands or hundreds... I forget. For the record, I have NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 (I'm pretty sure it's integrated) This is the minimum requirements for the game : Minimum: 128 MB, Shader model 2.0, ATI 9600, NVidia 6600 or better You Have: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 (GeForce 6150SE nForce 430) And this is the recommended requirements : Recommended: Shader model 3.0, NVidia 7600, ATI X1600 or better You Have: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 (GeForce 6150SE nForce 430) So if anyone can teach me how to find better graphics cards or even where to buy, thanks for your help. P.S. Should I wait for L4D 2? |

 | Yeah, that graphics card is quite garbage :S If you want a new graphics card, you gotta know if your computer supports it. Could you tell us what model your computer is? And also, game performance is not solely based on the graphics card. It also depends on the CPU as well, which could be bottlenecking the graphics card. So if your computer is simply too old, it might not be worth it to get a new graphics card. |

I don't know what big companies use for their motherboards, so knowing the computer make/model would be easier. |

Oh no, I wasnt asking for the report from SRL, I was just saying it would help us better help him if he gave us the specs ( and you are actually right since we would need the model ) so we determine if there would be any issues such as bottlenecking. |
