| MY TITTLE IS VERY MISLEADING AFTER SOMEONE FOUND OUT MY ERROR IN MY CACULATIONS PLEASE DO NOT FLAME ME. After 2x last Friday, iSpeedyDonut and I were discussing why going low-str would have benifits. But in the end we found out, Low-STR Corsair's will be much more costly than Normal STR Corsair's and only have a 1-2 WATK damage difference MAX. For example, (These are made up numbers), Donut has 60 Base STR. He gets +40 STR from his Zhelm [15], MoN/Deputy Star [5],Pac [10], and Sauna [10], which adds up to 100. He has 520 Base Dex, and has +20 DEX from his Snow Shoes [5], and Zhelm [15], MoN/Dep Star [5] which adds up to 545. Elton has 80 Base STR. He gets +20 STR from his Zhelm [15], and MoN/Deputy Star [5], again adds up to 100. He also has 500 Base DEX, but gets +45 from Zhelm [15], MoN/Deputy Star [5], Sauna [10], Pac [10], Snow Shoes [5] so he has 545 Total DEX. Both have the same STR, but Elton has more total DEX than Donut. So this is where MW kicks in. Suppose both has Max MW so this adds 10% to their BASES. Donut gets 520 + 52 + 25 = 597 Total. Elton gets 500 + 50 + 45 = 595. So basically their Dex is nearly the same, but at what cost? [1] 60% Overall STR scroll is 10m average in Broa, while [1] 60% Overall DEX scroll is 5m average in Broa. All in all you end up spending TWICE the amount for less damage. So people who are making Low-STR Corsairs, ask yourself this question. Spending a whole lot more money for 2 dex, imo is not worth it. [Answers may vary depending on equipment] With all that money you save [50-70m], you could go buy a better gun, which really determine's a Corsair's damage. Now ask your question, why would you go low-str? All of this was help from iSpeedyDonut, and EltonBrand [Me] EDIT: Wow, I didn't know I would get this many flamers about my style of writing or why I did this. All I am just saying is don't bother making a Low STR Corsair, its pointless. EDIT II: Crap, I deserve these flames now for forgetting to add the MoN DEX, which changes the whole story. I did not mean to attack any Low-STR Corsairs, or any corsairs in general while writting this, my main purpose was to ask if the cost of a low-str was worth it. EDIT III: Actually, being normal STR, you can use Att equips instead of STR equips. and Att > STR obviously. |
