Spam while Fighting?

I recently decided to play Maplestory again, haven't played about in a year. One thing that I noticed was that some player spam the same phrase over and over again when ever they attack. What is up with this? Is there a setting that lets you automatically do this?

Go to skills window and theres a new button macros, you can add up to 3 skills for 1 button and name the skill.

It's a macro, and can be really annoying.
