Q: Got Hacked (keylogged) i think

Hi Every 1 =D well the tittle say it all but my Question is ... would it be safe to play on my character again ? btw for the people who got experience on this stuff i got keylogged by Trojan-GameThief.Win32.Magania.azha i dont remember the name but it looked like that and yea i formatted my computer and every thing but would it be safe to go back to my Char after that ? or what i should do =/ and what info did the hacker get ? my password then he cracked my pin ? or my pin could get keylogged too ? and did he get other info too o.O or he steal from the game info only coz he changed the pin when i was trying to log in the first time ... and sry i know i ask too much :P thnx for passing by and for your help and time every 1 =D

the trojan probably included a keylogger and so ur user and pass are compromised... pin finders are also easy to find nowadays with google and the keylogger probably took your email account that you used to make the ms acc so tha ts compromised 2... i would change as much information about your various accounts (email,ms,etc.) and then try to log back in... there is a program called trojan remover or something along those lines but i forgot but the trojan probably got deleted when u reformated... gl on getting ur account back

if u formatted ur comp ur comp is ok. ur account... well if u logged on when u had the virus. U R SCREWED

If you've formatted your computer the key logger is gone. Now change your password for ms and your email along with resetting your pin and you should be fine.

This is only a game virus(I think) so the keylogger won't be able to survive a reformat. However, some viruses/keyloggers somehow can still be there after a reformat(but that is highly unlikely). A hacker that cares about MS..you don't see that very often. Most of the time, when people keylog you they try to take important stuff like Paypal, etc. Not someones Maplestory account...but you should change ALL YOUR PASSES right now. Also, use different passes for ALL YOUR ACCOUNTS and if you can't remember them all then write it down. People that use "master" passwords where their pass is the same for everything get hacked easily. Also, I recommend a program called KeyScrambler(google it). It scrambles your keystrokes when you type so say you type "password", then it would come out as gibberish like "f9ejwe]3" or something and its random each time. I'm not sure it works in MS though..

Thnx all you've been a great help and i appreciate it @gale3412 : i already got my account back in the same day but it was naked =X and i don't open my MS email so often i mean at all only when i need some thing from maple so the email is all right coz i didn't open it when the Trojan was in my computer as long as i can remember @FlaminPubes : your words well very calming are u sure it should be fine =X ( i already done all of the stuff u said ) @Andy019 : yup same idea i also think its only a game virus and i got rid of it already don't worry before i format i tried a punch of Anti spy-ware + anti viruses so yea it did went fine and i did catch it (that how i knew the name of the Trojan) but i didn't felt like its done so i formatted the computer and installed (AntiMalware + Anti-Virus )
