Hey, so i'm planning on switching to sword once i reach level 120. I plan on maxing out axe coma, panic, and combo attack, then maxing sword mastery and sword booster. Good idea? Bad idea? Neutral?

people say its bad but other then starting over as sword is the best option As I recall brandish's swing:stab ratio makes it impossible for an axe to outdamage a sword of the same level

It's not really a bad idea, but it is your character and Kira was only stating facts. You don't have to switch if you don't want too, because someone else made you feel bad about picking axes. o_o

You don't have to switch if you don't want too, because someone else made you feel bad about picking axes. o_o" The reasons why i want to go hybrid is: 1) Better damage 2) Axes are hard to find. 3) The reason why i chose Axe is because they are cheap, but now i notice that swords are pretty cheap. 4) I want to be accepted into boss runs.

well think of it like this if u hit 4k all of a sudden you say "look at mah 1337 dmg!" if u all of a sudden hit 500, u say"SS or it nebar happened!"

Im an axe sader and its fine. honestly, you are never going to encounter a situation when you will clearly notice your damage is less. Unless you are using like machines to track your damage per second, it doesnt matter. If you started with axes, finish with axes so you dont have to tyrouble yourself with it. Anyways, you look way cooler when walking with axes than swords. They look like giant shlongs when you walk.

Yeah it'll work, after you've got panic maxed, all the other available 3rd job skills are useless anyhow..unless for some strange reason you really want MP recovery or something
