This is my last final words that will stop all counter statements. Anything is possible in a game. It's just a game. They are not enforced with government coding or anything fancy. Anything can happen. A game programmer can even accomplish this. And Maplestory is not made from anything high tech, C++. Offered to high school students, these classes. We have private servs for crying out loud, we can reprogram files and have a whole other connection to our liking. Keep in mind PuppyKevin's proof is true, but this hack does not take control directly. They have to d/c you first. The Authentication ID is gone and its like logging on your account... as if you were at a friend's house. The story of how I learned about this I am familiar with this unusual type of hacking. You see, I've been around since beta testing and the first day of the release of Global Maplestory. I've retired from Maplestory right now, so it is safe for me to say that I've affiliated with 3rd party tools and other such hacks throughout my gaming career. Back in 2006, there was this hack similar to the ones going on right now. Same idea.. account d/c and control. Except he had done it by doing something in the dropped mesobags. Anyone who had picked up his mesobags had their account information sent to him. It wasn't just released in any game-hacking forum, it was done and made by a talented person whom I know from such forums. I have recently tried contacting him again, and I got a hold of him. He got out of the Maplebiz for quite a while. I will keep his name and the forum private. He tells me this person, or group of people, who is using this method of account control is just a sheer luck of hacking. In other words, the person or group of nerds behind this made this hack out of luck and a whole lot of time. If Nexon want to do something about it, all they have to do is do a little moderation and the hack will be useless. How It Work/What It Does My old friend mentioned above say that the hack allows them to access their account if they get a hold of something, anything that leaves a trace of their character. For example, chats, tagged items, and of course the character itself in the same map as the hacker. Once the hacker is in the character, they can not access the other characters on the account. So mules will be safe. Why? Once they log off the character, they cannot log back in until they perform the trick once more to the person in the game. It is exactly like logging on your Maplestory account at a cousin's house and you leave, with your account still logged in. Your cousin can do all the crud he wants to it, but its over once he logs out. Conclusion Summary This hack will d/c your character. The hacker has control of your character, but no information of your logs. Once the log out, they can't go back in without finding you in the game again and d/c you. It is exactly like logging into your account at a cousin's house and leaving with your character still logged in. He can

From what i understand, my impression is that they somehow kick you out and immediately taking control of your character on their screen instead of yours, without logging the character out of the network, thus not getting any actual info. So yeah, i agree with your info

Um guys didnt you see what polypoly said," PuppyKevin's proof is true, but this hack does not take control directly." indirect man. its like what he said. you log on on your account on someone else's computer and that person just kick you off, they have none of your info they can just do whatever they can until they logg off and i was a beta tester, i knew this hack existed. my hypothesis is that they happen to get lucky and found a flaw in the system which they took advantage of. and they made the hack similar to the beta test hack but not exact.

Yeah, this is about right. It's to do with the packet of going into your character. They don't get your information, like your ID, PW, or pin. Just get onto your char... good job, but the skeptics will be skeptics. CAN YOU GUYS READ THE THREAD BEFORE POSTING? He said "PuppyKevin's proof is true, but this hack does not take control directly.
