What happens if I drop the reloot a zhelm during a run?

My character in Mardia is about to go on a zrun with my friends guild. My friends not really prominent in the guild, but he asked the leader, and he said yeah, take along another guy. ( they have another buyer). So, basically, what happens if I drop a zhelm if i get a crap stat helm?

you can drop em and pick up others, but if you only paid for 1 zhelm, youll be blacklisted as a scammer sounds to me like youre getting 1 for free, so maybe just take the free zhelm even if it has crappy stats
