Are bowmans strong?

I just made a bowman and I was wondering if they are strong at like 2nd job. hunters or crossbowmans? ty

Bowman-attacks faster but has weaker damage Xbowman-attacks slower but has stronger damage BMs are one of the best bossers in the game but in terms of mobbing and leveling faster...not so much MMs can almost match up to BMs bossing capabilities with 5 second snipe cooldown. They have better mobbing and freezing capabilities.

so umm. I'm already in the path of a hunter. i have bows and bow arrows. can I change it to crossbow anytime? it's lvl. 22 with like lvl. 15 double shot and lvl. 1 arrow blow.

I seriously suggest you to make the character you like playing the most.. They're sort of equal in 1st and 2nd jobs. 3rd job snipers get a bit better but 4th job BMs are one of the stronger jobs in the game.. I made a strless hunter, extremely fun.. I'm planning on making him low str at lvl 75-80 so I will still have the advantage. Bowmen are extremely fast which is very fun to play in my opinion. Good luck choosing (both decisions are great, you can't go wrong with any job if you enjoy it..)

Yes they are pretty strong, but it all depends on how much you fund it. They tend to be out damaged in 3rd job by the other attacker classes. But in 2nd and 4th they do massive damage, compared to others.
