Deleting threads

So yesterday after I posted my thread about being a guy on a girl character another guy posted a thread about how we G.I.R.L are weird with many insault bonuses in the thread, It's still there. A few weeks ago I've posted a thread about how gay shouldn't be used as a curse word, about an hour after it got closed. Now I want your opinion on this, I know it doesn't belong to general IDC about gettin banned again I just want more votes on this I so see this thread deleted...

Chances are that whatever thread you're talking about never got reported. If you want it locked/deleted just report it or PM me a link to it. You can't just sit back and get angry when nothing happens, you have to take action, yourself.

Do I really need to report something, can't the mods delete something that they see is in un-appropriate

We can't see everything. Sometimes things are overlooked. That's where you come in. If you have a problem, do something about it. It took you less then half a minute to re-locate my thread. And that thread the highlight of yesterday's night, it was 12 pages of disscussion don't tell me you just skipped looking at it

I saw this thread just now because I was actually online and browsing the General Section. The General MS forums are relatively quiet compared to last night. Last night, if you didn't notice, there was a lot of hacker spam going around. Anything else could have easily been overlooked. EDIT: The issue has been taken care of.

Just because you see a thread that is against the rules doesn't mean that the mods would think to look in it. Think about it, you're expecting the mods to be in every forum and check through every thread and find everything just because you personally saw it and think to yourself, "Hey, this is against the rules, surely a mod will see it". If that was the case then regular users wouldn't be given the ability to report threads so the mods can take action. I never assume that a mod is going to eventually see a rule-breaking thread, I report it or pm it to one of them. Bobo is right, the mods are not gods and we as users cannot expect them to search through each thread to see if it's breaking the rules. If we don't take action then we have no one to blame but ourselves. After all, their job is to moderate while they are casually browsing the forums, not simply go hunting for rule-breaking posts. Sorry if I came off sounding harsh, but in order to criticize the mods, you have to at least have reported whichever thread you're complaining about. But hopefully, your problem has now been taken care of. EDIT: Yeah, and why did you expect this thread to be deleted? I'm sick of people who think the mods are "unfair" and delete every thread that criticizes them. They actually are here to help us despite what you may think.
