Hacking info. Let's get this straight.

Okay. So there seems to be alot of madness about this new hack. Let me get some info down, to help. *as of 23:03, basil time, HeroTex has been confirmed to be hacked. So this is real. (His charater is now stripped on the rankings.) Info -The hack works, by getting you into the same area as the hacker. So if you find the hacker, of it finds you, sorry. Don't trust wispers, or chat invites right now. -People in Random FM's seem to be getting hacked. -Rich targets, such as HefferHeffer, and HeroTex have been targeted. -Everyone could potentially be at risk. -Many theories have been put out to why this has happened, Including: The MLB (Maple Leaf Brigade), Nexon trying to get more NX buisness (Lol). -This hack IS the real deal. Friends of mine have been taken down, and this is in Kradia. Empty old Kradia. Watch yourself people. My ticket to nexon regarding this "Hack", was promptly closed. I wonder why...? ^ submitted another one, which hasn't been closed. I'll SS it once I get it back. How to be safe -Avoid random fms, and wispers trying to get you somewhere. -Stay away from empty places, such as Mu-Lung, etc. -Stay away from boss spots, such as BF, Anego, HH etc. -Stay in mini-dungeons if possible. <----Use a town scroll, if you want to leave. You can do it inside. -If someone defames you, then flee's into a random FM avoid it. Even thought, if the hacker comes to you they can get you. -I reccomend, making a new account with NOTHING on it, and trying to get info day to day. -Don't log on to the Nexon website. (People have told me, there could be something up with the site, as in your info is snatched when you login) -Or best of all, just don't log in till the 29th. -Store valuables, on a random mule, or in a few different mules, with different accounts, to be safe. If they get one, they don't get the others. -Keep your info up to date, with this thread. I WILL TAKE ANY VIABLE NEW INFO ON THIS. I WANT TO TRY AND GET THIS UNDER CONTROL, SO WE CAN GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS. THANK YOU. -tell what you think is doing this on the poll-

I've been leeching people all day, and getting random whispers. Account's still there, 130 I/L AM. Maybe they have some see-though device that knows how much mesos your account has ? *giggles. Cause if they do, that's probably why I'm not targeted. :}

The announcement said in "the next couple of days" not immediately. The project is just ready to begin. And they don't have all of the powers of GMs, either. They're being over estimated. And I really don't think that they would go through all the trouble and put their actual accounts in such jeopardy on THEIR FIRST DAY, if they are even on yet.

No point of going to the Min dungeon even though only 1 can be in there, unless people are in your party. Why im saying this is because they can easily packet edit and join your party without you noticing. Then say bye bye to your character.

Another way you can do it is join a party, enter mini-dungeon and leave party. Best to block all party invites, guild invites, trades, whispers, chat invites if you're really paranoid. As you have said, they're mainly targeting high-levels or richer people, probably so they get the most out of it before it gets patched. Low-levels (70-) probably don't have much to worry about.
