They have less interest in making currently active players even more addicted than making new players addicted at all. In other words, they want people that are still vulnerable. |

I meant vulnerable as in they're vulnerable to becoming addicted. They're vulnerable because they're still new players, and everything seems so amazing to them when they play. However, us older players already know all the basics and the "magic" has worn off. They're not giving NX to old accounts because the entire reason for giving away NX was to simply get people more interested (and most likely addicted later on) in playing Maple for a long time. Why would they give it to people that have already been on for a year or more? Chances are if you've been on one game for that long, you're already hooked. Edited in a sentence. |
