I just don't. Whenever I get emotional or upset, people always assume it's PMS. It's not. It seems as if I'm not allowed negative feelings because I'm a woman. Whenever a guy gets upset, he's called a sissy or unmasculine. srsly. Does that make any sense?

Well, I fit that Nice Guy motif, but... I'm not exactly bursting with emotions here. As a matter of fact, it's pretty hard for me to say what needs to be said because I'm very slow to anger. Iderno if I can blame that on gender roles, though. :L

pms is just a word every1 uses when a girl gets upset because of hormones >.< like when ur having ur period u sometimes get really pissy lols! caz we are girls and we get period monthly we have this time we get a little emotional and as for guys they dont :/! i dont think its sexist or anything i think its just a descriptive word to use o_o

Guys can't think for crap if a girl's down, and guys are so insecure about themselves that they can't even let loose once in a while. To sum it up, not all, but most high school guys are complete idiots. It's very rare that a girl gets PMS during their period, and most people seem to underestimate what it actually does. Most girls suffer from a lack of energy due to the energy concentrated in the muscles to push out the dead tissue as well as replenishing the tissue. The time before you actually start bleeding is still considered the menstrual cycle, in which you energy is eaten away by sustaining the life of the egg. To put it simply so more people can understand how it feels like for the average girl on a period, think of how you feel like when you get a lack of sleep, and every moment you're awake just makes you feel like you're lacking more sleep and energy. That's what it is - a lack of energy. Girls with real PMS don't just get "bothered", they downright flip out on people. Even the slightest trigger will cause them to burst in to tears or break down or cause a destructive anger fit. As said, most people don't even know what PMS is. And I can sure as hell justify that PMS is not what most girls go through, and what most stupid guys fail to understand.
