I/L Mage to Night Walker?

I forgot to make a level20 character to make a KoC Character and I noticed I had a un-wanted Level32 I/L Mage (Un-wanted because I stuffed up skills and stats. for something ). So just wondering if I can turn a Level32 I/L Mage to a Night Walker or does it have to be a Thief to turn into a Night Walker? If possible, can anyone explain to me about these KoC / Pre-Quest / Book thingies? o-0

why dont you just use your priest for a cygnus knight character? you can use any character 20+

Let me clear something for you. When you create a Cygnus Knight, it does not replace a character. Actuallly, you can even make your priest the parent Cygnus Knight, and it will not delete your priest.

You just need a clean character slot to create a KoC right? Because you start as a new kind of beginner?

You make a NEW character, not replace an old one.

So to everyone, does it work like this? If you have a level 20+ normal adventurer, you can make a Cygnus Knight, and it will get its own free character slot? Also, It starts at level 1, doesn't it?

Sigh, you have any level 20+ character. When that happens, you make a KoC character and boom automatically you get an extra free character slot but that slot is only for KoC characters. So you can't make a fighter or mage or whatever with that free slot. It starts at level 1 in a special map.
