Well..it's surprising how many people don't know what this skill is. Since it's coming out the same time KoC is and it's so great, I would've thought many people would know about it. In Maple and Basil, many people ask what Item Maker skill is. So I've decided to just summarize all the information I know about it. What Is IT? The Maker skill is a skill that any classed player receive at level 45. You can do this by going to Stan, an NPC in Magatia. Stan will give you a quest to go see Hughes the Fuse. After just talking to Fuse, go back to Stan, and you can use the skill! When you get it, the skill will be at level 1. You can level up this skill by performing later quests at level 75, and finally 105. You level the skills so that you can forge higher level equips. Level 1 can only do equips for level 50-70 (only one bonus can be used), level 2 can do 50-100 (only two bonuses can be used), and level 3 can do 50-120 (only three bonus can be used). What bonuses am I talking about? Keep on reading! What Can I Make? You can use it to forge all the for only your class, starting from level 50 since almost all the equips under level 40 can be bought from NPCs. If you want to forge the item, you have to be exactly 5 levels from being able to equip the item. An example is that if I wanted to forge a Hinomaru Fan (Lvl 60), I would have to be at level 55. Also, there are some exceptions like being able to make bows if you're an xbowman or other way around. Same for mages, warriors, thieves and pirates. What Can I NOT Make? This skill can't be used to forge stuff that are common (Work Gloves, PAC), Maple weapons or items you only get from Gachapon, I think. What Do I Need To Forge The Items? From what I've heard you need three things to make an item. 1. You need a mineral plate. Like steel, gold, silver, ETC. 2. You need Monster Crystals. They are forged from 100 ETC items from any monster. The kind and grade of a monster crystal are from the level of the monster that dropped it. Take Moss shells for instance. They drop from level 42 monsters, so they'll make Low Grade Monster Crystal C. The level of the monster has to be at least 31 for the monster crystal though. The kinds of Monster Crystals: Low Grade Monster Crystal C Monster ETC from level 31-50. Low Grade Monster Crystal B Monster ETC from level 51-60. Low Grade Monster Crystal A Monster ETC from level 61-70. Middle Grade Monster Crystal C Monster ETC from level 71-80. Middle Grade Monster Crystal B Monster ETC from level 81-90. Middle Grade Monster Crystal A Monster ETC from level 91-100. High Grade Monster Crystal C Monster ETC from level 101-110. High Grade Monster Crystal B Monster ETC from level 111-120. High Grade Monster Crystal A Monster ETC from level 121-200. 3. You need Magic Powder. It acts as a dye for the item. For example, you want a black scarab. Therefore, you need black dye. When the skill comes out, they drop from monsters at the same rate of ores so they won't be too rare. Trouble

And finally, along with this skill's release, we can forge Reverse and Timeless weapons (when someone kills PB). Prepare for massive ore inflation.

Pssst. "I hear that," "I think," and "Not sure about" are not good words to put into a guide. If you're uncertain about multiple things, then you should wait until maker comes out in GMS to write a guide.

according to "the story of maple blog spot" on google the graded jewels/crystals dont guarantee their numbers. Like how 3atk for a diamond high grade means it could go up 3 or down 3 its not like putting a high grade guarans 3 above avg. Just thought i'd throw that in there, although idk if this detail is true or not presonally.
