Hi basil, all the time i see threads saying ive been hacked and lost all my stuff and im quitting BLah, Blah, Blah. But then they say but i told the person my info, so is this really hacking? what do u guys think ill make a poll and leave ur comments

When I think hacking, I imagine someone with a hack-saw cutting away at your account trying to get in. When you tell someone your info, you pretty much gave them a key, so they don't need to "hack" into your account. So no, it isn't hacking.

I define hacking as someone getting into someone's account without their permission to do so, in that case. If the person just flat out told someone their account information, then that isn't hacking to me.

If you give them your info, it's scamming. If they crack into the server to TAKE your info, it's hacking.
