How'd YOU get addicted to maple?

Me, my cousin showed me. He also showed me runescape, halo, counterstrike, and starcraft and I got addicted to all of those, except runescape x_x

Somebody on Starcraft once talked to his friend about Maplestory, so I was like "Cool, I'll check it out." I checked it out, and this was before Nexon took over and before it had Cash Shop, and when level 40 was a really high level.
