Is an Xbox360 worth it?

I mean, I'm getting my room re-painted and moving furniture around, and my computer and large monitor are going up there. Now, I want to buy an Xbox 360, they're 200 dollars, but with a few games, a year of Xbox live, and an adapter for it to plug into my computer monitor, it will be around 350 dollars. Is the Xbox360 worth it? GUYS I ALREADY HAVE A Wii AND I HAVE HACKED IT. No, I will not pirate games, sorry. I don't like doing that, I has morals.

Was it really worth that much effort? =/ Whatever. To each his/her own. OT: No. Just get a Wii. Cheaper and more for your money.

I do love Soul Calibur IV, Marvel VS Capcom 2, and Banjo - Kazooie N& B which are all Xbox 360 games. Don't get me wrong, I love my Wii, I even soft modded it for themes and homebrew hacks :D.

It really depends on your style. If you like to play violent and exciting games, go for the Xbox 360. If you like to play family games and jump on the bandwagon, get the Wii.

You don't have to buy absolutely anything for a Wii once you get it. Given the fact that you own an SD card and a flash drive.

I like both. As stated above, I have a Wii. With that being said, I suppose I'll get an Xbox because I do love violence, but I still love the childish play of Mario Kart. :D.

Yes and No, I love my Xbox 360, but its broke WAY to many times then it should. I have had a PS2 for like 10 years and its never broke or stopped working even though I've spilled coffee on it, stepped on it, and dropped it more then once. Xbox 360, had it less then a year and its broke twice and my hard drive broke for it and I lost all my saved data, and that's just from faulty mechanics in the system, not me doing anything to it.

Don't buy the $200 one. It's a rip off. Get the pro for $300, you get a 60 gig hard drive xbox live set up. Buy the game of the year bundle, you get Halo 3, and Fable II My xbox never broke on me, if you want to keep it safe, keep it on it's side, so it's wide, and put it in an open space. DO NOT PUT IT ON CARPET

I love my Xbox. Maybe it'd be as iterative as the Wii with Project Natal. I dunno, but I definitely like my Xbox.

LOTS of people have complained about their Xbox 360 breaking,memory whiped etc. I think you should wait a bit for them to fix the Xbox 360 and most/all of their bugs. My couson has had a ps2 for as long as I can remember(8? 9? years?) and it has NEVER had even the slightest problems. You should probably get a psp/ps2/ps3.
