If by leech you mean someone killing it for you when you are in the same room, yes it counts as a quest completed.

you need the white essence, the black essence is dropped by Latanica and i think thus far has no use. edit: also the white essence does get used up when you summon captain Latanica by dropping it in the middle of his map.

even with hb, u may not survive, since he does 4k+ damage. u may want some hp equip to boost up ur hp with hb.

oh and when you defeat him take his lantern it may have no use right now but hold on to it it will be needed for a quest when ulu city comes out, this quest will give you a 60% scroll at random from a huge list of 60%'s.

yea look at m lvl too i still could get 1hit killed from him if my Shadow shifter doesnt work, dam NLs hp im planning on hp washing tho. better late then never XD
