What do you think about it, I think it's right... I'm a citizen of a country, said country gets attacked, and is threatened on the home front, civilians would be killed in these attacks, but people captured tell info and the government of said country is able to stop the attacks on the people. With out it, more 9/11's That's my view...

Torture does give results more often than not. It helps protect a country and its people and is sometimes necessary. Having said that, too often have innocent people been tortured. They can only deny their involvement, but obviously the govt. doing the torturing is gonna consider that a weak excuse to withhold info. Torture also violates basic human rights. There was a really good movie about this but I can't remember its name...

Torture isn't right in any sense, but sometimes doing the right thing can cost you.

There are different types of tortures, I think most of torture is plain wrong. Also, I think that if you're going to torture someone, you better be 100% sure they have the info that you need.

It wouldn't be so bad if torture actually worked. It's hard to push a person just right so they give you real info, and not just what you want to hear.

LOL. Did the Government instill that fear into you, or your parents, or the media? You think torture is alright? For fux sake, ever heard of humanity? If anyone is gonna invade America, it's going to bring down the totalitarian Government tells you freedom is owning a nice car, and being able to eat for a week.

If we torture, then we are no better than terrorists. Hell I feel that if we continued to torture our enemies, they would hate us alot more and the chances of them attacking would be higher. I am very glad we no longer have a president that approves torture, disproves Gitmo, and trying to make more friends than enemies, unlike the Bush Administration. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-p6OYJnKd6g&feature=related And wil, if your post is meant to call out Democrats, then I'm right here buddy!

For example, he apologized for WWII...wth was that? |
