Well there's probably about 500 threads like this, but i'm seriously about to pull my own hair out because i can't come up with a decision. Whether or not to go f/p, i/l, or cleric... This is just to i/l mages though, a couple questions. 1)Is your i/l fun/enjoyable? 2)Do you do pt training often? 3)Is the training decent? Those are my 3 main concerns, feel free to add anything else that might help influence my decision.

1) Yes, only gets boring when I'm looking for a certain item. If it's just regular training, then it's okay. 2) No, I don't train with parties much anymore, unless it's a party quest (no duh) or killing a monster for quest, to make it more efficient for the both of us. 3) Yeah, our 1st and 2nd job training is really fast, but in 3rd job it slows down in the hell levels: 70-75. But after you get after those, you'll be doing better than before, and pretty close to the old training, like at kents, firebrands, wyverns and himes.

1) My i/l is my apq mule now because I made a corsair. It's fun enough for me there. 2) I don't train often. I would usually get a bishop and go skeles. 3) 3% an hour ain't bad i guess. I can make it 6% with 2x. That's godly right there.

1. Being an I/L archmage is fun. I enjoy it. It's just the pots that refrain me from training. 2. I actually solo or get asked by my friends to train sometimes. Mostly, I help my friends by leeching them at harps or red wyverns. So I guess that's somewhat partying. Also, I do get in to party quests at my level such as Zakum and CWKPQ. 3. At my level, the training's decent and pretty fast. About 25%/hour at Newties on 1x.

1. It is VERY enjoyable for me to be an I/L Mage. Probably the only unenjoyable parts about being one is merchanting for an Elemental Wand (probably won't get one until 4th job anyways though), and dying of lag. 2. I'm the kind of person who prefers training solo, so I don't. In terms of party quests, I got in cpq easily due to Cold Beam and tw, LMPQ easily due to... being lmpq (and I was able to solo a room at similar speeds to the rest of my party doing the other), MPQ easily due to being a protector, PPQ easily because no one is there, and boss PQ easily because I'm an uncommonly found level 10x person there (and I can solo Manon). 3. I've been getting straight 30%/hour since level 60, and I still am .

First off, I'm level 90, so I don't know about 4th Job. 1) Yeah, I love freezing stuff and using tele. Training is as enjoyable as it can be. Well, I have more fun on my I/L than I have had on any other class, and I have tried quite a few. 2) I prefer training solo most of the time. I do party with my friends sometimes, and its fun to hang out. For Party Quests, CPQ is easy. Just TW and go to room 3 and use Lightning. LMPQ, freezing helps, and its nto hard to find parties anyway. Not hard to find MPQ parties either, especially due to being a protector, though personally I don't like protecting that much. 3) In my low 50s I got 70% an hour at Truckers. 60-65 was around 50% an hour, I think, at MP3. Eventually got down to around 35% an hour throuhg the hell levels (up to 75). Then I started at Kents, first getting 40% an hour, then increasing to 45% an hour in my low 80s. Firebrands also got me 45% in my 80s, but training there is annoying to me. Kents dropped down to 38% an hour at level 89. Now, at 90, I just timed the exp I get at Himes. 50% an hour. Red Wyverns is 38% an hour. This is all on 1x. Its great leveling.

I'm personally not a huge fan of training in parties, but if I ever get bored and want one, it doesn't take long for me to get into one. XD (This was from 3rd to 4th job) 3)Is the training decent? 1. yes, they sexiest class out there, having chain lightning runs through hhg1 is godly, i doubt anyone can do it, nice sound effect,they just hawt >.< 2. no i train solo, except when people look for newts top attacker 3 heck yeah

1)Is your i/l fun/enjoyable? duh. its the funnest mage class out there, in my opinion. 2)Do you do pt training often? currently i am doing mpq (magita party quest) which is with four other members. ice/lightning mages are most wanted in those parties to freeze and protect, training is faster though and i get about 40% an hour or more. 3)Is the training decent? yes. and its fun training with all the different skills you can use.

1. YESHH~ be able to freeze and mob *ice mob at 3rd job >:D* is godlyyy =] nd funn 2. i usually dont unless it's magatia pq or pirate pq o.o 3.yea...you can probably lvl pretty fast except....i dont go on that much [soo i lvl slowly]but when im on...mag pq gives good exp...sooo yuup :D hfz~
