What Are They? The Knights of Cygnus are a series of job classes that use elemental abilities unique to each job and possess unique skills compared to standard job classes. Story Knights of Cygnus began when an empress of the Maple World sensed the evil Dark Magician lurking around the l Maple World. Dark Magician is known for trying to destroy the Maple World, but he has previously failed to do so. Now he has returned to once again wreak havoc. The Empress Cygnus, aware of Dark Magician's actions, has begun to recruit brave Maplers (you) to become Knights of Cygnus whose duty will be to fight off the Dark Magician and his wicked followers. What Do I Have To Do To Make One? A player's character must be at least level 20 to create a new Knight of Cygnus character. This new character will be connected to the main character who created it through a reward system. This connection allows the two characters to support each other through leveling. Each pair of Noblesse and Knight of Cygnus will receive a buff called Blessing of the Spirit and gain an extra skill point whenever the other one levels up 10 times. Pros * Stronger than the standard classes until standard classes pass the level cap of the KoC (120). * Gains 6 AP per level up until level 70. * Exclusive map and quests in Ereb. * Gets most skills earlier such as Echo of Hero (Level 120) and most 4th job skills (no need for a skillbook) in their 3rd job or so. * Can use elemental abilities earlier than magicians. * Gains a useful summon in 1st job. * Gains their exclusive mount earlier than the standard class. Cons * Their level limit is 120 instead of 200. * They can be very expensive classes. * Requires that you have another character at level 20 or over. Beginning Once you start your Cygnus character, you start in Ereb instead of the usual Maple Island. New players are given a special overall robe, a badge which identifies you as a Knight of Cygnus, and a hat. Quests in Ereb are simple, just like in Maple Island, but required to get to first job. Once your Cygnus character reaches level 10, talk to Ninehearts who will direct you to your 5 job masters. Speak to one of the following: * Mikhail to become a Dawn Warrior * Oz to become a Blaze Wizard. * Irene to become a Wind Archer. * Ikart to become a Night Walker. * Hawkeye to become a Thunder Breaker. Noblesse Blessing of the Sprite: Increases your Weapon Attack, Magic Attack, Accuracy and Avoidability. Passive skill. Max is 20 points. Buff up the character using the power of the sprite. Every time a connected character's level rises 10, 1 skill point goes up. * Level 1: Weapon Attack + 1; Magic Attack + 2; Accuracy + 1; Avoidability + 1 * Level 2: Weapon Attack + 2; Magic Attack + 4; Accuracy + 2; Avoidability + 2 * Level 3: Weapon Attack + 3; Magic Attack + 6; Accuracy + 3; Avoidability + 3 * Level 4: Weapon Attack + 4; Magic Attack + 8; Accuracy + 4; Avoidability + 4 * Level 5: Weapon Attack + 5; Magic Attack + 10; Accuracy + 5; Avoidabilit

Wow, this is great, It really cleared things up. The only thing I dislike is the fact that to get a extra boost you need to create another character. I mean, I wouldn't have to, but the fact that it's there bugs me. And btw, I heard you can "favorite" threads. How do I do that?

commander5 said: "Did you get this from somewhere?" o.O Maybe you read some part of the info on another website or basil . I've already said that some of it was from that in my disclaimer.

Destiny01 said: "this is copied from some wiki i dun rmbr but i saw it in one" Wow... I said that I copied and pasted from MULTIPLE sources for this guide. I didn't say I made it, I just compiled all the information...and added some of my own.

What if you have say a 120 4th job character and create your KoC. Does the skill where it gives you stat bonuses every 10 levels still apply? Like you get Level 1 Bonus at 130? Or do you get Level 12 automatically?

I've read somewhere that they have gotten rid of the parenting thing ? Meaning you don't need a 'parent' character. Is this true? If so, will there no longer be a buff between your 'parent' and knight?
PhilxPP 07/15/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
@above That's the way they changed it for KMS. I'm pretty sure we're going to get the original way, which is having a parent character. MSEA has the parent character system, so I'm assuming we will get it as well.
