"you're old enough to use bad words when you're old enough to make it on your own in the real world." or at least that's what old people say

^^^ yeah, people would bypass it. i don't see how it can be strictly regulated without taking our protected personal info.

Age filters are a bad idea. Any basiler can lie about his/her age.

Not everyone likes seeing filters. Not everyone likes seeing cussing. kartik7 said: " Are you inside or outside the U.S, cause in America you can buy guns." Inside. I said one of, not the. Guns hurt, but cars hurt more. I'd rather get shot than hit any day. (save for extremes like shot in the head VS hit by car going 5)

You want the filter to be based on the "honesty system"? It's never going to happen. I'm positive Big B would agree.

Just because some people don't swear at 12, 14, or even 16 doesn't mean everyone fallows those same morals. All I'm saying is some flexablity for the filters would be nice. Some phrases I can imagine never being unfiltered, but there are several terms I think people should be allowed to use/see by age 21. ._. If people lie about their age, that's their issue. You can't hold everyone's hand through life.

Basilmarket security and Mr.B won't go through so much trouble just to cater to the needs of the old. This site was designed for children 10 and up, and because of that, the content here must stay E10+ I'll put an end to this. There's a 99% chance it won't happen. It'll only happen if Big B goes crazy.

Filtering words like r@pe, or any non-English letters does more harm than good. This is the internet. Excepting kids to not be exposed to 'words' that are somehow 'harmful' to them is just pure ignorance. Not to mention filters that don't even make sense. Why is South Perry's website filtered? Any 'questionable' content, as deemed by Nexon, was removed, yet the filter stands strong.
