I was at Manhattan because of some buisness and went to duane and reade (49 th street 9 ave if you MUST know >_>) with the intention of buying 20k nx. So I took a small stack thinking it was two and brought it to the cash register. The dude was activating the cards when he asked me if i was buying 3. I quickly said no i wanted 2. Then he told me to put one of them back. I did what i was told, payed my $20 and walked out the door. When i got home (took the train) and checked online, one of them was activated and one of them was not. After a while of thinking, I concluded that the one i put back was the one that was activated and the one i had was not( im pretty sure cuz the serial number on the receipt doesnt match). The next day i went to a local duane and reade(not the one in manhattan) and asked them to activate it after i told my story. Dissapointingly, the manager rudely said that it was not their buisness and told me to go back to the duane and reade i bought it from. So my question is, if i go to the duane and reade i bought the cards from, will i get my card activated or at least a refund as long as i have the receipt. serious answers will be appreciated

explain it the way it happened, be sure to mention you live far so that they know why you didnt come back right away.

If you have the receit you could bring it and show him, if he doesnt belive it just show him the code thingy on the reciet and the one on the card
