Hi im an employee that works in a movie theater and my manager keeps giiving me saturday night everytime and I dont want to work saturday night since all of my friends are getting friday nights at their job so we can chill on saturday nights. So i dont want to work saturday night to chill alone on friday nights. Can someone give me A VALID reason that can be proven also to NOT work on a saturday night? Thank You

Your reason: If possible, you'd prefer to work on Fridays because on Saturdays your frienda are off . Look your manager dead in the eyes and tell him that . It's valid, and you can prove it Why aren't people going with the truth anymore ?

I told him that he let other people off with saturday nights for this same reason or even with no reason and when its me he told me NO you can chill any other day also.-_- at least you understood my situation.

Tell your manager that saturdays are not suitible for you current schedule as well as life style and they youd like a schedule change

Well are you still a student? Then tell him that the weekends are the day you study/projects/etc or the weekends is when you spend time with your family and friends sicne all of them don't have time on the weekdays.

Tell him that if you don't get Saturdays off, you'll quit. Or, you can scream in his face that he is biased and hopefully, feel guilty so he might consider it.

there is no such thing that the manager asked when i got hired. And if i tell my manager i quit, he'll probably say i can find other employees that would be able to work saturday night.-_-
