Okay so your walking down the street going home when you look to your right and see a basketball court. Now this basketball court isn't an ordinary court, it is a court with about 5-6 thugs beating up your bestest buddy. They are about to pull weapons out. Would you go in and help him or run. By the way, you cannot call 9-1-1 because they wouldn't get there fast enough, your friend would lose his life. *This question applies to guys more since girls aren't usually beat up by a bunch of thugs.
