I was thinking of going for the celebrity medal, but then it came to me... Do i keep it forever or does it go away if someone else gets 1000fame I do know that the donor medals goes away when someone else donates more. But is it the same with 1000 fame?

Celebrity medal is different from the medal you're thinking of. To get the Celebrity medal, you have to talk to Dalair and get an increase of 1000 fame in 30 days. It'll stay forever.
