Do left handed people get some sort of advantage? If they do, what is it? I'm ambidextrous when it comes to sports, and my coach told me to use my left hand instead for some reason.

I heard because your like active part of your brain, or the part that controls your muscles is on your left side or something, so it transfers messages through neurons faster or something to your muscle, but I think my TableTennis teacher is crazy so.

yeah they get an advantage, they hit to the backhand side of righties, which is usually weaker for them. unlesss you're like me, and you have no backhand teehee.

Probably because the vast majority of players are just used to playing other right handers. Didn't help me much, though-I still sucked at it :p

When you are playing tennis you are usually suppose to expect where your opponent is going to hit the ball, but when you play with the opposite hand than they expect, they go to the wrong place, because your back hand is their forward hand, etc aka LEFT is BETTER than RIGHT

The majority of the people are right-handed players, so it would be quite normal for them to play against rightys. But when coming against a left handed person, it's a bit different because they won't be hitting forehands all the time, instead they'll be using backhands. People are better with their forehands than their backhands. Edit: My backhands are a lot better than my forehands @_@ Hate it, lol.

i Don't think so i mean maybe if your on the right side of the court it'd be easier (when the other person is serving i mean) but thats about it or are you more comfortable with your left hand or something?
