How I quit MapleStory.

Over the last two years, I have played MapleStory for fun. At first. Then as time progressed and I advanced classes, switched classes, played all classes, enjoyed the new skills, leveled, made friends, spent money on NX; I felt empty. There was nothing to do left. So about two months ago I gave my account away. All I can say is that I don't regret it. The person whom I gave this account to is happy and we are good friends talking on AIM and E-Mailing. He's done a good job with my account and I'm glad he has it. What made me quit was me snapping back into reality. No matter how much money I have in MapleStory, that doesn't count worth !@#$ in the real world. In fact, it was eating my money because I was spending my hard earned allowance on NX. Also my grades were falling and I'm in high school so I didn't want that to happen. After quitting, I bonded with my friends more, went out to the movies, worked out, got a girl friend, and i was getting my grades back up. Take the responsible and obvious choice. Give your accounts away to someone who really wants it and walk away from MapleStory.

Well maple hasn't been much of a problem to me. At least I reached the highest grade in Math on my matriculation exam 8D

Maybe you're just weird but plenty of teenagers can play ms and keep 4.0 gpa's I have a social life apparantly unlike you. And yeah, only real losers spend nx in ms. i quit for about 1 1/2 years and came back because i was bored.

But you see. Most maplers have good grades and I do that anyways without giving up maple. It may have worked for you but for many people, they can operate fine while playing maple. My friend's Dad plays maple, he is 40, has a job, wife, kids, and he is normal. Good for you for quitting and it may have been the best choice for you, but not for others. It's not that I didn't have a social before, but quiting MapleStory helped me go to my friends house and hang out more often etc.
