I've seen this to much. Gay isn't a curse word, a curse word is meant to hurt, insault curse word is a BAD thing and there's NOTHING bad with being gay so please stop using this word as a curse word . Now yes I'm posting this in general because this goes very well to allot of maplers and the way they act

I'm gay and i still use it to say things like 'that's gay'. It doesn't bother me... It's only offensive under the context which it's used- if someone said it to me spitefully then, yeah, perhaps i'd get offended (although in retrospective i probably wouldn't). Basic etymology means it's defined as 'happy' anyway; if anything it's a compliment.
