STRless vs low STR Slingers

I'm making a slinger and I'm curious on whether a strless is better than a low str. If you recommend low str tell me how low I should put it.

To my knowledge, STRless slingers suck. They just aren't worth it. They're basically the same as STRless Archers. Where to cap your STR is a tricky question. I've got my STR really high, because I like to wear the pirate getup. To get some good damage, I would say capping your STR at around 70 or so. With a Zhelm, MoN/Deputy Star, and the pirate boots, you should be able to get to 100 or even 110 STR with some easy scrolling. Then after you've gotten your STR were you want it to be, focus the rest of the scrolling on DEX.

strless is horrid. There aren't any decent guns to help you get up to par with reg/low str slingers. the best is lvl 64, which even with all the godly scrolling, a higher level gun would beat it easily.

Low str is the way to go if you are looking for better damage. They will win out in the end. Cap your str so you can wield whatever gun you choose with your equips. There is no way to tell you what number that will be.

Well I'me guessing I'll cap at lvl 50 then wait until lvl 64 to start adding again. Because the lvl 64 gun I think it's unnecessary to add until I pass that level. So is capping at 50 for a while then capping at 70 a good idea?

I think capping it at 50 for a while is a good idea. Then, to figure out where you wanna cap your STR, you gotta know which gun you wanna use. Let's say you want to use a concerto, so you would aim for 100 STR. Then plan what kind of STR equips you can get your hands on. If you know you can get a Zhelm, D. Star, and let's say a 6 STR cape, then thats 26 STR right there. Then you could wear the lvl 90 pirate shoes that give 5 STR, which gives you 31 STR just from equips. This way, you could cap your STR at 69, and focus scrolling your overall, Zhelm, and shoes for DEX. Then you could scroll your gloves for ATK. ^So yeh, thats how you would plan out your STR and equips if you wanted to use a concerto as your end-game gun. Really, to know where you wanna cap your STR, you gotta know what gun you wanna use, and what equips you can get. So it's all a matter of planning.
